CEO, Nyali Capital Ltd

Nyali Capital is a credit only micro-financing institution that focuses on the economic empowerment of women, youth and people with disability. This is done through LPO financing. The organization has 3 branches: Mombasa, Nairobi and Eldoret.

Co-Founder, Treasurer

Ecobiz is a sacco for entrepreneurs and their employees (including domestic help). You accumulate savings while earning. The savings and loan facility come in handy in lean business times or when you want to invest for yourself and/or your business.

Member and Director

Wanjiku is an active member of the Mombasa chapter of the KNCCI where she also serves as the Director for Women in Business. The Chamber has been instrumental in helping her grow her businesses. In 2018, she was voted Best Woman in Business (Mombasa).

Wanjiku lives in Mombasa with her husband and 3 children. She's also heavily involved in her community and church.

NSE Ibuka Program Initiative

In 2019, Nyali Capital was enrolled in Ibuka, an initiative of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). Ibuka helps businesses gain the acceleration that will increase their potential for listing in the NSE.

Best Woman in Business Award

Wanjiku was voted Best Woman in Business (2018) by the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) Mombasa chapter.
